Seasons Supports

Cancer Council Western Australia
Seasons is proud to be a supporter of Cancer Council Western Australia. Cancer touches the lives of many people and it is certainly a cause close to the hearts of many of our team members.

We have collection tins at each of our branches, and we also offer the option to collect donations on behalf of a family at the funeral service if their loved one has passed away as a result of cancer. Please ask your Seasons Funeral Arranger for more information.

Cancer Council Western Australia believes that by working together with the community they can work towards a future without cancer. Their mission is to work together to reduce the incidence and impact of cancer, through funding research, running prevention programs and providing people affected by cancer with support to enhance their quality of life. They are here to help guide people affected by cancer through their journey.

Cancer Council WA provides a wide range of support services, including counselling, wellness programs, support groups, information, and local support for regional patients close to where they live. Asbestos Diseases Society
In February 2014 Seasons Funerals commissioned a two by two metre, oil on canvas painting from award winning WA artist Lauren Wilhelm, to be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the Asbestos Diseases Society of Australia (Inc), Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation for sufferers of asbestos-related illness.

The artwork depicts a black funeral Friesian being gently led by its handler: companions sharing life’s journey toward death.

From November 2014 through to February 2015, the artwork will be taking a journey of its own – spending time at some of Mandurah’s finest establishments to promote the painting’s auction in March 2015, and encourage people to register to bid and support an important local cause.

To register your interest in bidding for Journey, simply contact Zoë Buswell on 1800 732 766 or email

Registered bidders will receive an invitation to the cocktail auction event in March 2015.

Proceeds from the auction will go toward community education, medical research and will assist people living with asbestos related disease, all over WA.
